Now that Brady's out, who needs Farve?

The Jets pulled out on top after a sloppy game on Sunday 20 - 14. The Dolphins looked absolutely
terrible up until the 4th quarter when they seemed to get into some type of rhythm both offensively
and defensively. Pennington's touch pass (almost picked because it was floating) to Martin brought
them within striking distance after Nugent's injury had Mangini making some interesting coaching
decisions (one which worked out on Farve's lucky school-yard-type lob pass to Stuckey).

On the Jet's last drive of the game, Mangini surprisingly opts to run on 3rd and 7 rather than try and
complete a pass with his new QB. I just don't get that, and in the coming weeks they better be
a little more aggressive than that or they'll have a tough time winning this now wide open division
with Brady's knee injury (how crazy is that, by the way? I still can't believe it).

Pennington led a nice little drive, but it was thwarted by a nice catch by Revis. You gotta be more
aggressive Ginn Jr.! If you're going to get called for interference at least get another down out
of it rather than letting him intercept it! Jeez.

Overall, this game was way too close for the Jets. Sorry Jet fans, but winning 20 -14 against
arguably the worst team in the NFL means NOTHING! However, Farve did have one legit touchdown
pass, the run game looked decent, and overall the team looked okay. I wish they could have a bigger
test next weekend, but hey, maybe it will be with Cassel at the helm. Brady didn't play until
Bledsoe was injured, right? Oh and Farve, you may have impressed Jet fans, but you've still got
a lot of work to do my friend.
