Rex Ryan is right

This team is on a role and can definitely go all the way. The Ravens and the Jets are the teams with the running game and defense. The defensive ball control teams often leads to success in the playoffs. I like the Jets chances. I am looking forward to the parade with Rex Ryan.

OF URGENCY

Hello, my goodly, goodest, bestest, dear friend.

I write to you with the greatest of expectations and in full, greatly, bestest confidences. I have sent to you my investment proposal from the center of Nigeria... uh, well, New England. My name is Mark Sanchez. I have been wounded in battle and I am pleading for your kindnessest of attentionisms. I wish to propose to send to you, my dearest, bestest of friends, 28 million USD (guaranteed) from my account directly to your account so that I may relocate to USC, USA so that I may recover from my wartime injuries that are the result of Jet failures and intruding Patriot blitzes and onslaughts. This is not a hoax, nor a scam, as I have heard of from coming from Nigeria, Bullshitislovia and Screwmeiamanidiotistan.

I am willing to pay, my dearest, bestest of friends, with the 28M and my right arm. Neither are doing me any goodnesseseses.

Am awaiting your most promptest of prompt replies, promptly. I can be reached at sanchezoopala.jets.egotoolargenohumilityhotdog.help.please.

Signed, your dearest of dear friends, with friendshiply friendliness of sincere sincerity,

Sanchez & Ryan Give Jets Fans Hope!!

For decades whenever the New York Jet front office has made a significant move - hiring a new coach, selecting its No.1 draft pick or their starting quarterback - Jets fans have held their collective breathe and wondered, "Did they get it right.??" Since that historic night in Miami back in 1969, almost all of the answers have been a resounding NO! Well after watching the Jets complete their 2009 pre-season under yet Another NEW coach and yet another No.1 draft pick who happens to also be the NEW starting QB, this time the Jets may have gotten it right...While time and victories/championships on the field are always the true indicator as to whether a franchise has "Gotten it Right," what Jet fans have seen from rookie coach Rex Ryan and rookie QB Mark Sanchez through their first training camp, gives ALL of Jet Nation cause for optimism..
It all gets under way this Sunday afternoon in Houston as the Jets open up the 2009 campaign against the high-powered Texans..Houston will be a nice test to see if the Jets defense has mastered in some small part Ryan's complicated blitz-based defensive scheme..The Jets, however, will be a bit shorthanded as starting DE Shaun Ellis and LB Calivin Pace are both OUT as they serve their NFL suspensions....The defense will be the key if the Jets are going to be victorious on opening day for the second straight year as the offense should be pretty vanilla since it is the first NFL game for No.1 draft pick and rookie QB Mark Sanchez, who Jet fans are hoping will give them their first star at the position since the days of Broadway Joe Namath back in the 60's and early 70's....With Sanchez making his first start, look for Ryan to rely on his veteran offensive line - a strength of the team - and Pro Bowl running backs Thomas Jones and Leon Washington until Sanchez gets his feet wet...While most people aren't expecting much from Sanchez off the bat, having watched him in college - if Ryan takes "the diapers off early," Sanchez will surpise people and make plays...Sanchez also may make a few mistakes along the way, but based on everything he's shown in training camp, he has the goods to be a star...Ryan too has shown a lot of good things during his first training camp as well...Like I stated earlier, time, victories and championships are the only TRUE measure as to whether or not a team made the right choices...BUT thus far from what they've shown, Ryan and Sanchez give Jets fans hope and optimism that the front office Finally got it right!!

J-Cut in the Hizzy???

OK... so the "J-CUT"s and "Hizzy"s are pretty damn tired by now, but the question remains: Will the Jets make a run at Jay Cutler?

Given Cutler's youth and immense talent, it's hard to blow this one off. Jets fans have lusted for a franchise quarterback for quite a while.

But Cutler's personality issues are well documented by now. Several NFL players have spoken out about Cutler including his own teamates and our very own Kerry Rhodes.

So, what gives? Do you think its worth it? Is this the offensive move we've been waiting for all off-season?

Dolphins Defeat Jets

Well the Jets ended a disappointing season by losing four of their last five games including the Sunday to the Miami Dolphins...

After wins against the Patriots and the Titans the Jets looked ready to take the NFL by storm..

Oh what might have been...

Now the Jets have fired their coach...the first casuality of their late season disaster...

More to come.............

Seahawks defeat Jets

The Jets completed a 0 - 4 west coast disaster with their latest loss - this one to the Seattle Seahawks..

This was truely a team effort, with overall bad efforts by the head Coach, the Quarterback, the Defense, and everyone else in Green and White.

You can blame the schedule, you can blame the travel, you can blame the weather, but lets face it, the Jets have played terrible the last month.

They still have a chance to make the playoffs but they now need help..

Boy to the Jets need help.......

Jets Defeat Bills

Well sometimes it's better to be lucky than good...

The Jets deserved a break after two straight loses and what appeard to be a third stairing them right in the face...

A Bills pass play with two minutes to go truned into a Jets "defensive" touchdown and although the game was still in doubt up until the final "hail mary", the Jets escaped with a win...

And a win is a win....

Lets hope the momentim continues this week in Seattle and next week at home against Miami....

Jets vs Bills

Well, the Jets have backed themselves into a corner and must win this week against the Bills...

I think that the Jets have a lot going for them this week, they are home, the Bills are really down, and the Jets despite their awful last two weeks are still in control of their own destiny....

I think that the Bills will be competitive but in the end....lets go J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets...

Prediction: Jets: 31 - Bills: 28
